On February 27, Gov. Kim Reynolds signed SF 418, a bill legalizing discrimination against transgender and non-binary people in Iowa.

Washington County has the legal authority and moral responsibility to protect all residents from discrimination.

The Board of Supervisors must pass a Civil Rights Ordinance protecting all people in our county - as other cities and counties in Iowa have done.
